James Bonner was born in Compton, California. He is a photographer and product of the 60’s that captures the beauty in all things. James has always found architecture and landscapes very captivating. “My parents always taught me the virtue of seeing the beauty in the simple things in life.”

Often driving to the beach, he would get lost in the beauty of the ocean and then drive to Downtown Los Angeles to look at the architecture of the buildings such as the Orpheum theatre, the La Times building and the Biltmore Hotel to name. a few because their architecture was so detailed and flawless.

James enjoys long walks, good music, historical places, nature, and of course, cupcakes. When not wearing a camera around his neck or flying his drone, he can be found lounging in a movie theatre watching a good Sci Fi or Action-packed film.

The collaboration with his clients keeps his approach fresh and is what gives his work its unique perspective.  There is no one-size-fits-all formula for every project and James works with his clients to help craft the unique stories that fit their brands. James has the experience and ability to take on any role necessary — from creative direction, defining a shot list, pre/post production and more.
